Which exchange has the lowest USDT withdrawal fee?
It depends on the network. On BNB Chain (BEP-20) and Polygon several exchanges charge cents. On Tron (TRC-20) fees run from 0.5 to 4 USDT, and on Ethereum (ERC-20) they can exceed 5 USDT. The table shows each one right now.
Why is the withdrawal fee higher than the network fee?
Exchanges set their own fee, which covers the network fee plus a margin. On Tron the network itself costs about $2.24 per transfer without staked energy, and some exchanges charge more than that. On Polygon the network costs fractions of a cent and the withdrawal fee is low too.
Which network should I withdraw USDT on?
The cheapest one the destination supports. Check that the wallet or exchange you send to accepts USDT on that network: tokens sent on the wrong network can be lost.
