Blocknative gas API alternative
Blocknative stopped its gas APIs on June 19, 2026. GasNow serves the same blockprices response, so most integrations only need a new base URL.

Frequently asked questions
Is Blocknative's gas API still available?
No. Blocknative announced that its gas APIs and Gas Network would stop working after June 19, 2026.
What do I change in my code?
Replace https://api.blocknative.com with https://mddqwppgucgzefzddajy.supabase.co/functions/v1/gas-api. The /gasprices/blockprices path, the chainid and confidenceLevels parameters and the response fields stay the same. The Authorization header is accepted and ignored.
Which chain ids work?
0 (Bitcoin), 1 (Ethereum), 10 (OP Mainnet), 56 (BNB Chain), 137 (Polygon), 8453 (Base), 42161 (Arbitrum One) and 43114 (Avalanche). Other ids return a 400 error with the list.
Are the confidence levels the same model?
Not exactly. GasNow maps each confidence level to the matching percentile of priority fees paid in the last 20 blocks (99 → 99th percentile and so on), on top of the next block's base fee. Results are close in normal conditions; treat them as estimates.
