Ledger Hack Scare Nears $90M as Tether Freezes Stolen USDT

Blockchain investigators report that suspected Ledger wallet thefts are approaching $90 million, prompting Tether to freeze USDT linked to the incident.
The hardware wallet maker said on Oct. 9 it is investigating losses tied to devices bought from authorized reseller CryptoBilis in Southeast Asia, and Tether's freeze aims to prevent further movement of the stolen funds as the investigation continues.
